Ultra flat (no rolled highs), even off-access response. Moderately directional to limit room reflections. Extension to ~70hz (greater extension not needed when coupled with a quality sub. High-sensitivity (loud when powered with consumer-grade electronics). Magnetic grill to prevent broken posts. Aesthetics not critical but a small footprint is always preferable. Towers should have tweeters at ear-level (no shorties), bookshelves should have an inexpensive and stable stand option. No bi-wiring/amping needed, just give us a good crossover.

Auto Room EQ

Question 2:
best.subs.ever. No, seriously: they provide a quality that you normally find in products that are prices substantially higher.

Question 3:
I always think of SVS as providing (literally) the best bang for the buck. I hope that when they release the premium line, they continue this tradition. They can do this by outperforming their similarly priced competition. I can't wait!

Only in the USA

I don't live in the states and could use a serious sub upgrade, which this would be. Damn it!

I know SVS from their subwoofers. I've never had one, but I've heard they are one of the best brands for subs.

Question 3:

I like different styles in terms of shape, etc. But I a high quality finish is a must. It needs to feel substantial and well built. And look great with grills on or off. When it comes to sound, I like it neutral.

Excellent finish on the cabinets, moderately sized cabinets, efficeint to power with a mid range receiver.
A solid trade off on performance for the price.
Possibly offer a similar trade up policy on the speakers as you do for the subs.

Improving the room equalization process would be awesome. Wireless would also be awesome for a few limited situations.. overall, probably not generally needed and not good to add features across the line unnecessarily for cost reasons... Dedicated LFE seems required.

The rest seem unnecessary.

Question 2:
What comes to mind when you hear the name SVS?
High quality subs and customer service with a mostly attainable price.

Question 3:
SVS is debuting a premium line of speakers this fall. Describe your dream speaker from SVS.
It used to be a basic solid built speaker with the best components possible for the price. These days I'm drifting a little more toward something that also has the exterior finish to fit well into the interior design of the house though.
