Emotiva upa2 or no?

I currently have an Onkyo 705 which I may upgrade to one of the newer Anthem MRX receivers or maybe even move into just a preamp. Anyway, if I stay with the 705 or get one of Anthem MRX receivers would purchasing an Emotiva upa2 do anything for me or give me any benefit over just driving them with the amps in the recievers. I'm already using an xpa3 for the fronts and center which I felt made a very nice difference that I'm happy with. I'm just trying to decide if I should get the upa2 for the surrounds or continue with the receiver's internal amps. I could always go for the xpa5 and sell the xpa3 but I'd rather not deal with that hassle unless it would offer a real audible difference.

I would think the receiver would be plenty. The sides don't require the power the front 3 do.
