Sampling Frequency? Bitrate?
I heard that the standard was not finalized before, how about now?

And, if I need to implement an encoder in some specific hardware (i.e. not a common PC), and I need a good quality of audio, not necessarily as good as 5.1 channels etc, should I use AAC or MP3? How about HE-AAC?</font>
