This is the last year they are being made and just found out I'm getting deployed in a couple months. 2nd to last one they had on the lot, 34miles on the odometer.

0-60= 5.6s

Got a extended 6yr/85,000 mile warrenty thrown in as well. I

Congrats on the new pocket rocket. That is one impressive vehicle. I'd call it a sleeper, but the street guys know better. ;)

Its red, has a spoiler, and hood scoops. I wish the police had the same standards you do.

Matt, I bet your car looks even better by the time you get back. :)

Add to that an intercooler right smack dab in the front with dual exhaust.

Thanks, I'm going to level it out(stinkbug stance right now) put some classy black 18" wheels on it and remove the wing. That's it as far as the exterior goes. XM is going in this weekend along with the tint.

I'm going to put it in storage while I'm gone and then probably get the stage 3 kit(From Mopar, so warranty will still be good) installed when I get back. That should push it up around 330hp.

Make sure you stabilize the fuel before you put it in storage.

Yeah, have some stuff that I used last time. It''s going to be garaged, under a cover and on jacks.

BTW- anyone have experience with a security system called "Identity" Personal Recognition System? Suppose to automatically arm when you get about 10ft away from your car. Electronically cuts fuel and spark when you take the little key fob out of range. Sounds good in theroy.....

Good man. There are very few cars I like wings on and that isn't one of them.
Those are pretty cool looking cars but I would never drive one! Only because I don't fit though... It is hard finding a car that I fit in. Sucks for me! Oh well, I'll stick with my boat. Congrats! :D

Yeah, it's a tight fit. I'm 5"9 and 195lbs and the upper back supports are not wide enough for my shoulders. I talked with another SRT owner today and he must have been around 6'3-6'4 tall, don't know how he fits in there.

Orders some parts today.

K&N cold air intake
Hotchkis lowering springs(I want the Mopar Stage 3 coilovers but way too much $$$)
Maddog Short throw shifter
Greddy Catch Can

Having it tinted and the stereo installed this weekend.

Getting some Montegi RT-5(flatblack) 17x7 wheels installed, hopefully the following weekend or as soon as they arrive.

Here's a picture of the hamsters....

Yeah, I'm 6'4", 220... But the bright side is it really narrows down car choices, so I've never had a problem of deciding what to drive.

Thats a slick looking engine bay you've got there. I forgot those things are FWD. I'm a RWD junkie until the day I die. Your airbox is huge! Yikes! Are you going to move the filter somewhere else or are you going to just swap it out? I've noticed on my car it does much better down in the fender, but if you over-oil the filter it dirties up your MAF, so I took it out. I'm lazy and my car isn't fast anyway, so it doesn't really matter. :D

I saw pics of your hatch, what do you have plan for it? There was a guy here in Phoenix that ran a 11.03 1/4 mile in his SRT-4 this weekend at Speedway.

That thing is sick. Can't wait to see how it looks slammed with some 18's on it. btw I really like the profile of the four door model -- is the wheelbase the same as the coupe?

The SRT-4 only came as a 4dr. I believe the SXT 2dr models are on the same wheelbase. I can't wait for the rims and springs either, should look good with the black rims, tint and the LEDs in back. I still need to take it to the body shop and see how much it would be to fill and paint the four little holes left in the trunk after I take the wing off. Also taking the emblems off the back to complete the sleeper look. Only thing that will give it away will be the dual exhaust, front air scoupe and the intercooler.

Have about 950 miles on it now, going to switch over to Mobil 1 synthetic after 1500, turbo motors love the fake stuff.:D WOT acceraltion is insane, I take the highway back and forth to work everyday and merging is not a problem at all.:p I rarely have to get over 5psi of boost due to all the torque. I truely believe this is the most fun you can have for around $20k.:D

My only gripe thus far is the small gas tank, I'm filling up every 3-5 days, low fuel light comes on and I add 8-9 gallons. I'm guessing it's only a 11 gallon tank.

Forgot to add, bought an Escort Passport 8500 X50 radar detector too, just need to pick it up at the post office Monday.

You know, depending on how much it is going to cost, you might just want to buy a trunklid that doesn't have a spoiler, then have it painted. Then you can either keep, or sell the lid with the wing on it. I know with my car, it is usually cheaper to find one and paint it.

Actually, my car is so common that on my first bird, when I had to replace the front bumper, I got one from the Pick-N-Pull and it ended up being the same color! That is always a nice thing. :D

I may go that route too. There are plenty of neons to choose from.

Oh, and in reference to the CAI, it is there new dryflow synthetic filter which requires no oil.

Was the BOV a pain in the butt to install? When I put one on my cruiser it took about 2hrs because one of the three bolts is really hard to get at.
