Not being a true "Audioholic", I really need some mentoring. I am using my PolyPlanar marine stereo as my sound system for a 3 season room. I have installed 4 in ceiling 8 " speakers and also a matched center. The real questions I have are how to run my flat mount tv through the aux connector on the stereo and using a Jaton 5.1 AV switchbox to give a pseudo surround sound to the room. First, is this possible? Second, although unconventional is this going to be a wiring nightmare? I know that people will question the use of 12v DC, but I had already had the transformer hook up for lighting and the PolyPlanar was only $45, 4 channel, 25w RMS at 4 ohm. I would like to have the ability to be able to have standard stereo for music and the surround for the tv. Any insight or comments (good or bad) will be appreciated.
