I was looking to buy a used one for $650. + shipping, took time for one more search and found deal thru Gosale.com!

Saw your other post in bradymartin's thread. Didn't see the gosale thing there, so tried that and the best deal is $595 for a refurbed via fleabay. Amazon was $999 when I checked earlier and just now again at least...

When I checked yesterday they were there. There were like 10 left.

my son tried to order one last night. there were still 8 boxes left.
they were at $599 when he put one in his cart.
They immediately went to $999 when he went to check out.
He feels pretty ripped off. He voided the transaction

I've had that bait and switch experience at Amazon before when I've hesitated buying something; best thing is if it really appeals just order immediately before they change it back.

Oh that sucks. It really does. I would have felt the same way.

The $599 was probably from a seller that was out of stock so it put the next cheapest in. Dumb, but prolly not as shady as it seems. When dealing with as many sellers as amazon does I can see this type of thing happening a lot.
