Delay settings

HI all:
Would like to ask a couple of questions.

I will be hooking up a LG BD390 via anolog audio and using its internal decoder. Will this by-pass the delay settings I have already made in my old Yamaha RX-V420 reciever.

Also I will be hooking the blu-ray up to an LG Opus 1080p tv via HDMI. Do I have to set the display resolution in the player to output 1080p over HDMI or will it do it by it self? Also will it automaticly upconvert a DVD to 1080p?

Yes, using multi-channel analog will by-pass the receiver's setup. You'll need to set that up in the player.
