Is there a detailed write up on how to use it without the IWoofer PRO app? I am a Android person cannot justify buying an IPhone and setting up an Apple account just for this purpose. Documentation on the Dayton Audio web site is rather skimpy

You are correct. That's also called IWoofer. Unfortunately, the instructions for both are skimpy. IWoofer PRO is for IPhone only and it automates the calibration system. Kinda similar to the Audessy in the Marantz receivers.

I am thinking of using the DSP-LF to flatten the subwoofer output of my sealed critically damped subwoofer and then using the Audessey in the Marantz 6010 to calibrate the full system.
