I purchased this disc based on Amazon reviews, before I knew anything about DF. Wow.

The guy must be a musical savant. He's seemingly touched EVERY aspect of pop music - rock, R&B, country, pseudo-jazz - over the last 30 years. This disc is gorgeously shot and recorded. Of the 15 or 20 performances on ths disc, only two were not to my taste (but technically sound).

Beautiful to watch, lovely to hear. Stunning talent.

I guess there could be a separate discussion regarding pop music vs. music originality and innovation, but that's a different conversation.

Buy this disc.

While I don't own the DVD of this concert, I did get the audio of it for my mother-in-law. I've listened to it a few times, I'll agree, he's very talented and has aided many artists.

Another you may like is Leonard Cohen - Live in London ('08). Granted, much of his music was written about 35-40 years ago, it takes on a whole new meaning and presence now that he's 74-75 years old.
