I recently have been considering adding some of the excellent titles available in the Criterion Collection. However, there is a huge list on their web site, so I wanted to ask if anyone on the forum has any specific recommendations. Some of the US titles are familiar, e.g., the Hitchcock titles, late 60s and early 70s movies like Downhill Racer and the like, but I am unfamiliar with most of the non-US titles, many of which have very interesting plot descriptions. Anyway, if anyone here has experience with any of these and feels like making a recommendation, I would be much obliged.
