I just bought a house with a media room prewired for 5.1 home theather. In additon to the 5.1 speakers, there are two other different rooms in the house which each have a pair of Klipsch speakers running back to the media room.

How to I hook up the speaker pairs in these two other rooms to my AV Receiver? Any and all help is appreciate.

I have Yamaha RX V661 that can accomodate a second set of front speaker either as a B set, zone2, or presence - whatever that mean I don't know. Do I hook up the speakers from the other two rooms in parally to the B set? Should it be zone or B set or whatever? Should I buy a external switch box to pick with of the two rooms to drive or what?

Any and all help is appreciated?

Unless I am mistaken, the 661 has two zones. You want to run 3 zones so the best way to do this is with impedence matched volume controls out of zone 2. You could also just use a speaker selector out of zone 2 but it wont be as cool.
