I currently have a samsung hlp6163w 61" dlp. We have been very happy with it and samsungs support for the past few years, but we are now building a new home that will have a media room and we are selling this tv with the house as an incentive.
I haven't looked at TV's since I bought the sammy a few years ago. Now plasma prices have dropped and 1080p is out. Sammy has a 71" 1080p but i don't know if i should go plasma. I like the brightness of plasma but i hear in 3 years or so it will be dull and I don't want to replace that soon. Plus do they make a 61+" 1080p plasma? And will non-1080p sources (satellite hd feeds and ota locals) look good on a 1080p screen? I don't have a blue-ray player.
