I believe I'm refering to the correct speakers here...
The D series is a good rock and roll party speaker. (and that's not a cut...) If you like hard rock/metal or club music and like it loud they are good speaker that doesn't need a lot of power to get loud. Do not expect a neutral sound or to be able to pick out nuances in the music.
I like the AT series better. I own both D-5's & AT-12's (although both are packed away) Both series are the same type of speaker just the AT is slightly better.
