Carrie Fisher & Debbie Reynolds – RIP

Usually I wait for j_garcia, or one of the others who post these RIP notices. They must be away or busy.

The deaths of Carrie Fisher at age 60 (Dec. 27) and her mother Debbie Reynolds at age 84 (Dec 28) a day later is more than a bit unusual. Both were in the La La Land (Hollywood) entertainment business, and both had real life stories much more interesting than their Hollywood personae.

2016 has been a tough year for these types of events.

This is quite unreal.

To me the original Star Wars move was the release of the century and I waited ages to see this feature movie in the cinemas when it was originally released. I think the role of Carrie Fisher in this move was for the history books.

I am saddened by this, RIP Carrie and Debbie
