Someone once told me that its a shame im not using the analog section on my disc player for music and I hadnt really thought anything of it until then. I hooked up some nice analog cables to the cd input on my marantz av7005 and was excited to hear the difference. In all honesty I could hear no difference between the two methods. Have I damaged my hearing that much already or is the difference subtle if your preamp has a good dac?
It sounds equally amazing either way to my ears.
