Budget Receivers

Hey everybody, new guy here. I am looking to upgrade my HTIB that is about 15 years old. I am on an extremely tight budget and have some gift cards to BB. I found a couple of open box items. What would you choose? I plan on expanding on this over the next few years with the addition of new speakers, a projector, and HTPC. Is it worth the extra $100 for the Yamaha? Thanks in advance for your help.

Between those two, definitely the Yamaha.

The Yamaha, but remember speakers make the sound not receivers. Best Buy has the Andrew Jones Pioneers on sale now. You might try out those with your current receiver.
