Hi. I already have a Bash 300w Sub Amp and I'm willing to purchase the Peerless 12" XXLS Subwoofer driver and 2 12" Peerless Passive Radiator.

Bash 300w Sub Amp: www. parts express .com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&DID=7&Partnumber=300-750 (take out the space for Parts Express URL)

For the Bash subwoofer amp, the output power is 300 watts and Signal to noise ratio 105 dB A-weighted. How's this 105 dB A-weighted S/N Ratio make a difference compared to other amplifiers like Dayton 240w sub amplifier with S/N Ratio of 90dB? Will this improve performance for the Peerless 12" XXLS Sub and lower the noise and distortion?

Also, I mentioed "passive radiator" which one of them are going to be mounted to the side of the subwoofer (one for left and one for right) while the Peerless XLS are to be mounted to the front. The size of the enclosure will be 18"x18"x18", which equates to 3.38 cu. ft. For the passive radiators that I'm aware of, I'd have to add in a couple hundreds of mm in mass to prevent the overflow of excursions to minimize distortions and blownouts--for protecting my investment.

I bought the 300w sub amp because I just thought it would help improve the sound quality of the Peerless 12" XXLS subwoofer.
