I agree, that is RIGHT on the edge of go/no go. If you were happy with the bass before the failure I'd probably lean towards the amp fix. However I'd like a good idea of the time frame involved to get the amp returned. Does a brand new one come with more than a one year warranty? If so, maybe it is worth the extra $100? You'd have your old box and driver too...a DIYer might be willing to offer you a bit for that?
