Bang & Olufsen EarSet 2 Bluetooth Headset Review

It seems the minute they come out with a new product; it shows up in a movie or TV show (I think they use a Bang & Olufsen phone on the show Deal or No Deal). Their products seem to have that je ne sais quoi that just oozes style. But you pay for that style. Visiting a B1 store can be an eye opening and wallet empting experience. My visit to the B&O headquarters in Denmark showed that they do put a lot of thought and engineering into each of their products. Bluetooth headsets are becoming more and more popular. Most of them look remarkably similar – like half a tongue depressor sticking out of your ear. The EarSet 2 looks completely different. While I am a believer that looking different is a good thing, performance is what really matters.

heh, goog joke
that just proves that aesthetics perception is a very individual thing ... and BTW, TV Product Placement is not a way to recognize true quality products
It is a way to recognize POSER gadgets

Very sad review :(

Audioholics is to be commended for doing a review on a B&O product. Most B&O customers have style foremost on their minds, and expect it alongside top drawer performance. Most audiophiles however think a lifestyle product is by default compromised performance wise. This may in fact be true for many companies, notably Bose. But if a lifestyle product also excels at its job, it ought to be recognized. It so happens that some B&O products, for example the Beolab 5 loudspeaker, feature some of the most innovative and cutting edge engineering ever seen, with final performance that can easily hold its own and in some ways surpass anything the traditional high end puts out.
