Can the Denon 3806 drive the axiom m80s since they're rated as 4 ohm speakers? Also, any significant difference between the m80 vs m60s? Thanks.

Yes the 3806 should run them just fine. They are very efficient speakers so they can get very loud without demanding much from the receiver.

they are pretty efficient. people ran them on the 3805 with little problem. but, if you turn it up too loud for too long it will shut down the receiver. Someone posted that problem on here and said he was going to get an amp.

i dont know if the 3806 is any different.

M80 vs. M60

To answer your second question:
The 8 ohm impedence of the M60s make them an easy load for any receiver including yours. They will play plenty loud in all but the largest rooms. They don't achieve the max SPL of the M80s. Your denon is a good receiver and should be fine with either model.
