Considering that he was the driver designer for M&K and has done design work for most of the major speaker companies over the last 20+ years, that qualifies him. Plus most importantly, he's an expert b/c I say he is

Well for one he's on the Audio Engineering Society (AES)
"Technical Committee on Loudspeakers and Headphones"
