IMO if the current model has what you need/want, then I'd just get it. If you're willing to wait you can probably find a good deal on Amazon or wait for them to roll out the new ones and drop prices on the current ones.
IME newer isn't always better. Too many bells and whistles tend to take away from the power supply. Receivers seem to be getting lighter and lighter amp sections.
