Antenna/OTA question

Quick question - I have an old CRT tv that I am trying to use in the garage. Have a rabbit ears antenna plugged into one of those "digital converter" boxes that Best Buy sold for $35. I get a fantastic picture, but absolutely nothing but static on audio - doesn't matter what channel I'm on or how I turn the antenna. Have tried both standard coax connections and RCA cables - no difference either way. I'm just looking for something to have the ballgame on during yard work, etc., so I could care less about audio quality - just looking to actually hear the sound.

Any ideas?

I agree, it sounds like the box. It could be that the audio on the TV itself as failed, but that's not as likely as it being the box.

Do you have anything you could plug the audio out of the box into as a test to see if it's the box or the TV? It probably is the box since those are made super cheap.
