Amazon fire stick

WiFi signal status on amazon stick constantly switches from excellent to not in range. No issues with the fire box or any other connections. Anyone else have this issue?

My girlfriend and I bought her mom a fire stick a while back and she has the same problem. Also, she's right across the hallway from the wireless router. We haven't found a solution...

Never had any issues with mine. Router was within 5 feet of it and almost in line of sight though.

Do ya all use originally provided usb power adapter? Believe or not - this could cause crap load of issues.

We are using the provided cord. Are you saying it's a good thing or bad?

Our plan was actually to buy a longer cord and mount the stick on the wall or something to get better wifi reception.

Originally provided is good and I don't mean cord but small back brick which is power adapter.
