Hey guys i'm new here!

I'm an owner of cafe shop in Korea and it's years end so I'm super busy at my store.
I don't have sensitive ear and it's all for my customers. I sincerely need your help guys please :)
Today, my speakers went boom and isn't working anymore.
I have to be honest, I used a 50$ cheap speaker to save my budget.
and I need a new speaker really fast!!! and maybe an amp.
I already have an amp but please take a look at it and see if I need a new one to compensate the speakers that you guys will be recommending. (will post picture of the amp later on).

So.. some details about my cafe.
It's about 1400sqft and the walls are composed of 2 sides of brick and 2 sides of full window.
Classic tile flooring and wooden finish ceiling.
I had this feeling that too much base made the room echo a lot.
Since it's coffee shop, it's generally humid inside.
Most of music that I'm turning on are maroon5 kind of songs and sometimes some club music like 'ode to oi' if the store gets too crowded.
I need to change 3 speakers and my budget is $500~1000 (if, by any chance, this budget seems ridiculous, just tell me and I can adjust my budget at bit but please understand.)

Thanks in advance!:)

so this is my amp.
I just have a quick question, this is not plug in but it's like cut your cord and wrap around it kind of thing.
I need to set this speaker up myself.
Any help I can get on this one as well? Thanks

It is absolutely impossible to give you any sensible advice. I can find no details of that unit.

It has video and audio circuits. It says it is a PA amp, but I have no idea if it is a distribution amp, or a more usual type of 70 volt PA system. Also I have no idea what type of equipment for this application is available in Korea.

Any advice would be dangerous and irresponsible. I have no idea what the nature of the equipment you have is. You seem to not have enough general knowledge of these systems to give you advice you would understand.

You need to call a professional PA installation company, especially as you are serving the public.

Thank you so much for your help!
I wish to ask one more question.
If I am to buy an amp that you guys have understanding of, what would you guys recommend?
(I'm asking because the repairing cost of the speaker is ridiculous and costs as much as the price of the speakers. Really prefering to just get a new one)

Hi, Mark. There are details about that amp on the internet. The sites that I found earlier this morning are in Korean, but you can use a translator. For example, this link might help you.

To the OP, welcome to the forum! I didn't respond before because I don't have any specific speaker recommendations for you. What speakers were you using before, and did they sound good to you?

Thanks for that link Adam.

The unit has low impedance output, and can work as a 70 or 100 Volt speaker system.

The low impedance outputs are 4, 8 or 16 ohms. You must not go below a 4 ohm load.

I have no idea how his system is set up. So I still can't help him.

Hey, Thank you for your kind replies.

I have tried my best to draw out how the store looks like on windows paint:).
The speaker that I have been using is MAS. I have no idea what the model number is since it's placed at a most awkward place to get to. However, based on the image, I think I found my speaker and its specifications.
MASMALL [MCS-720W(°ËÁ¤) / 20W ¿Á³»,¿Á¿Ü°â¿ë ¹æ¼ö Ä÷³½ºÇÇÄ¿,¸ÅÀå,Çпø,°Ç¹°,ÁÖÂ÷Àå,Çб³]
here is the link to it. It's in korean but if you scroll down a bit, the specifications are in english.

here is the rough idea to how the speakers are setup by the professionals. (To be honest, I think they aren't specialist but just payed worker to get the jobs done and get speakers working).
Also I can relocate my speakers, so please recommend me where to place it based on the image!

Dear Adam,
The speaker sounded mediocre. I think it howled?(or echo) too much and the bass made some notes fuzz (i hope this makes sense). I don't have a speaker at home. I just use my electric guitar amp(marshall mg50dfx) when I want to use external speaker. Otherwise, just plain samsung earphones that they give you when you buy their phone or external speakers built onto my laptop(aztec).

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask me.
Thank you again!

ps. I heard that Shure is a good company and I'm going to ask about their product. How does it sound?
and also I got ripped of by the setup company...:( the speakers alone costs only 32$ straight from the speaker company and i payed 50$ for them each.

p.s. I heard that Shure is a good company and I'm going to ask about their product. How does it sound?
That is a high impedance 70 volt speaker. There must be a transformer around some place.

On your picture you have two speakers connected to the high impedance outputs.

This is not a DIY job. You are out of your league. You need a professional on this job.

Thank you for helping me out. I guess I need to call professional :(.

One last question before I step back!
Any speaker brands that I can contact to have the speakers setup?
Most of music that I'm turning on are maroon5 kind of songs and sometimes some club music like 'ode to oi' if the store gets too crowded.
As I have stated above, my current estimate budget is around $500~1000 at the moment.

Please recommend me some speaker companies so I can buy their speakers and also an amp!(if a new amp is needed to use the speakers to full potential)
I can, then, ask them to set it up for me or call some 3rd party companies to set it up for me:)

Thanks again for your precious time.

You mentioned Shure professional products. They have been excellent for years. I think their products will be beyond your budget.

The first thing to do is to call in professional installers, to find out why your system failed. For all I know it might only need a new 70 volt transformer, which will be very inexpensive.

You just need to call the right outfit with a good reputation. Ask other nearby businesses that have installed sound systems and find out who to trust.

As you are finding out, we can be of limited help from across the world's largest ocean. Any advice we give may cost you money, and not help you.

Job 1 is to find out what is really wrong with your system and if it can be repaired.

I would personally start with the dealer and installer of the equipment you have.
