Hi - I have spent my weekend reading through these forums. I am not at all familiar with AV materials. However, I am pretty handy and generally good with electronics.
Unfortunately, after 3 days all I can do is narrow down a new AVR to a few and was looking for some help in selecting one.
The models that I am looking at are Yamaha RX-A2000, Denon AVR3311 or the Onkyo TX-NR808.
The reason I am looking at these are:
1. HDMI 1.4a - I have a 3D TV
2. Networking - I have my music and video all archived on a large server
3. Internet Radio
4. iPhone/iPad control of device - I have a son with a medical issue so an app with this funcitionality is a must for our household
5. Zone 2 video and Zone 3 audio
6. ARC on the HDMI to the main TV screen
If anyone can suggest a reasonably priced alternate I would be greatley intersted. Otherwise, does anyone have any suggestions as to which would be the best to go with for my above needs?
