Default Is My Subwoofer blown

My wife was looking at a movie the other night using my Home Theater system and the subwoofer started clipping. Unfortunately, she did not know what to do. Anway, I checked my system the next morning and my powered subwoofer is dead. I thought maybe the fuse was blown but no, it's fine. I even purchased new fuses but still no power. Is my subwoofer blown or not?

Maybe. Can you feel it rubbing when you push the cone in and out? Being completely dead like that is odd.

...not if the amplifier died. It does happen.
