Which of the two speaker leads is positive grey or white ?

I'd recommend doing the 9V battery test.

1. Remove the speaker grills
2. Take a small 9 volt battery and connect it briefly to the wires leading to the speaker.
3. Observe whether the speaker goes in or out.
4. If it goes in, then note which wire was touching the + (positive) lead of the 9 volt battery. If it goes out, notice that the lead touching the positive terminal is actually the "negative" wire for the speaker.
