Question Green halo with sony KD-34XBR960 CRT TV

I have a 2 month old Sony HD TV, hooked up to a Yamaha RX 2600 and an HD Tivo. Recently, I've been getting a greenish "halo" maybe 6-8 inches thick around the perimeter of the picture. Tonight it was bluish. It usually went away if I turned the TV off then on. Tonight I had to leave the TV off for> 30 seconds to get rid of the bluish halo. I love the TV, and would hate to have to take it to a rapair station. It took three strong people to lift it onto a three foot stand! Any idea what's going on?? Thanks

I've read that many people have had issues with the tube on the 960, not exactly sure on the specifics. That was the main reason why I bought the HS420 instead. Good luck, I'm sure if you search the net you'll find the reasoning behind it.
