Default Panny Plasma commercial display vs. consumer tv?

I am considering the commericial display TH-42PHD8UK
vs. consumer tv TH-42PX500U.

I like the idea of the CableCARD in the TV, but the clean bezel look of the commercial version. I now I'll need a cable box with the later option.

Does the commercial version have HDMI included in the base model (I know there are option modules for $149.)

Is there a difference in build quality and/or glass thickness between commerical and consumer lines?

Thank you,
AV Newby

Has anybody tried that tweak in the service menu he speaks of?

I am really having a hard time with the crappy TV picture on regular cable. HD looks amazing but non HD picture is awful. Not sure whether to have it at 480i or 480p or 1081 sretch, or Pan and Scan etc. ....so many combinations I have yet to find one that makes me happy.

I also notice some blocky pixels on greys and some whites and, on scenes filmed at night, my girlfriend made a comment "it looks like the people are in a Xray machine" , and she was right. The people in the dark look like they are "glowing".

JC

Maybe this tweak will help.
