There is a special on the Dell website for $2599 CDN. Does anyone have any info or experience on this tv set? The offer is valid until Jan 5th.

I don't have this plasma but I recall in recent months that Dell was selling this in the U.S. for approx $2300.00 so that must be close to the dollar equivalent in Canada.

A recent issue of Consumer Reports magazine also selected this Dell as one of their top three choices; must have generated a significant amount of sales for Dell! (The other top selections were Panasonic).

This is essentially a Samsung product bearing a Dell badge.

they're made in taiwan.....Panasonics are MUCH BETTER!!! The leader in Plasma tech!

Do you have a Panasonic plasma? I know they are highly rated, but they are $1000 to 1500 more for HD
