Default InFocus 4805 S-Video Question

Does anyone know how long the S-Video cable is that comes with the projector? I'm going to be running wire through the attic and will need about 30 feet (that includes slack) for this to reach the cable box. If the cable included isn't long enough should I just order a longer cable or an extension? If the extension, does anyone know any places to go pick one up?

I didn't know any projectors shipped with ANY cables.

I would head over to www.bluejeanscable.com and pick up a 30 foot s-video cable.

EDIT: Why are you hooking up s-video anyway? About the only thing that uses that are S-VHS players and camcorders...

Your PC should be VGA, your DVD and HD cable/sat box should (must) be component or better.

Otherwise, I'd just add a composite cable so I can have my on screen menu for my A/V receiver and to see my security cameras.

My friend hasn't upgraded to HD yet and is using standard cable via the dish. All it's got on the back is s-video and composite.

The one I got at Costco came with an s-video cable...I believe it was 30 feet.
