Panasonic TH-42PX50U

I'm in the process of shopping for a new plasma tv, and have looked at the big retail stores, and really like the looks of the Panasonic TH-42PX50U. I'd like to get some advice from you guys before I make the big plunge. I'm trying to stay below 3k for this purchase, and will be using it to set up a home theatre environment. Can you please comment on the quality of this set and brand, and/or suggest an alternative 42 inch plasma in this price range. Thank you.

I have heard nothing but good things about Panasonics plasmas.

You mention that this would be for an HT environment. It wouldn't take long before you wished that you had bought the 50 inch Panasonic plasma. If you wait, and I know that it maybe hard right now, but I heard plasma prices are ready to really drop. By late spring I bet you could get the 50 inch for the price of the 42 right now. If not the same price, no more then a couple hundred more max.
