My earlier post was lost in the server transition. I have a 10 year old Yamaha RX-V850 receiver with Dolby ProLogic and DSF processing. It plays laser discs and CDs. *
I am looking for a basic dvd player. This SONY has a 12 bit, 108 Mhz video DAC and a 24 bit, 192 Mhz analog converter. It has plenty of outputs for my receiver and 480 progressive scan which I can't use.
But how does it play - video, audio? Obviously I am not an early adopter. * * * * Thanks a lot,,,Bill
