Default Amp advice

Hey folks-

Any advice for a used 200w X 2 amp in the $500 range. I currently have a Yamie rxv-2500 and Energy veritas 2.3 fronts. I haven't built out the rest of my system yet but intend to get the balance of the Veritas line + a sub. My room is about 7000 cubic feet. I have seen some Adcoms and Rotels on Ebay but looking for some insight on best bang for the buck...Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks!

Outlaw Audio sells a 200 watt single channel amp for $299. Two of them would be a little over your budget but they are new.

I'm new to the audio game - is it pretty risky buying used amps or do they tend to be pretty reliable if you go with a decent name brand? I wouldn't mind buying used if I can get better equipment and have reasonable confidence that I will get some useful life out of it.

Great recommendation, but just thought I'd point out that when you buy two M-200s they have a special price of $578 for the pair.

Another option would be to find a good used B&K ST-202 Plus on Audiogon. They're great amps and last forever.

Are you using the new amp to power the low end in your fronts (bi-amped), or the fronts completely?

I was considering using them to power the fronts completely but I'm open for suggestions

These would be hard to beat and would come new with a 5 year warranty. Also if you find them used Outlaw will accept the transfer of the warranty.
