As far as the dedicated servers go, I had read that they are going to a new method of doing multiplayer games.

With this system anybody can start a multiplayer game on their computer and setup all the preferences that they want, they can even make it public or private (which will allow for clans to battle each other, scrim, or hold practices). When you are searching for games you will have to tell it what settings to look for and when it finds matches, it will connect you to the one with the least amount of lag.

I won't be getting it. COD4 was fun for a bit, but multiplayer was too much run n gun for my liking, especially on hardcore when all they had to shoot was your foot and you'd die. I can't say that I didn't have fun with it on multiplayer, but I did get irritated very quickly by that style of play. I enjoyed BF2142 much more.
