Default how should i cut my .mepg format video?

i have a home video,but part of it seems not so good,i want to cut about 5minutes.how should i do?please tell me the detail.

You need a video editing program, like Sony Vegas Studio.

Just google and you will find several free apps for video editing, choose the one that suits you better.

You could probably use VirtualDubMod

Its a free open source application and it works extremely well.
