With bass there is no replacement for displacement, and that 15" high excursion driver will have an advantage over the PB13 below 20Hz.
I missed the part about the amp being optional.
It looks almost like whatever amp he used to drive is had a boost at 20Hz. you can see the output rise between 30 & 40Hz. I expect you would see rising output up until 60-80Hz.

Yeah, i'm surprised about the 15.1 not being a box either. I asked him about the 15.1 and if he could make it a box, and he could, but it would bump the price up to about the same as the 15.3, so there's no real point. I'm still considering the PB13, and i'm thinking about the Seaton Submersive now too, but i'm not sure if its' sealed design will put out as well at low frequencies as the ported boxes
