Thats one amazing DIY job I still think SVS every time I see it because it looks like a Pro job.
What was the sub box made out of that you were able to make a cylinder?

Same thing that SVS uses, only larger. Cardboard carpet tube.
I didn't build this guy unfortunately, a buddy of mine who does nice work (as seen here...) built it. I have a garage now though...so I CAN build stuff like this again

If they do, just fill the tube with CatGone! The stuff will tame some of the sub's resonances while it's in there, too.
