Stereo Receiver advice

First posting... need advice on replacing my old Nakamichi AV-500 (also sold as AV-1).

My Nak is showing its age. The Loudness & Tone switches have to be pressed and depressed several times to get both channels to work properly. I love my Nak--simple, clear, and pumping 120w/c, a perfect fit for a pair of Canton Fonum CD 730 speakers. I only use the system for music--all kinds but mostly jazz, latin, classical, and trombone quartets. My wife and I love to dance and this frugal setup can turn my living room into a legitimate ballroom any night. This is not the most amazingly clear and detailed setup at low volumes, but crank it up and now we're taking. The Cantons need power and I don't know where I can find a similar receiver to keep on shaking it loud and good.

Been looking at stereo used Marantz receivers and old Rotel integrated amps, most rated at 80w/c and above, but I don't want to spend more than $350. Your 2 cents will be greatly appreciated.

You're not going to get tons of power at this budget with an integrated/receiver, but maybe you don't really need that either. Some ideas, at $350 or less:

If you bump up your budget some more, there of course are some other interesting choices, whether up the line within these respective brands, or the Outlaw that I particularly like.

I think the Cambridge Audio 340 will do you nicely. The 640 mentioned above is way more than $350, more like double that at $700 or so.

Why not just clean all of the controls and switches?
