A/V Cooling fans question??

I just received everything but the mesh. It should be here tomorrow. I plugged the fans into the A/C adapter...and had to check to make sure they were plugged in. No sound at all.

Scythe claims 40.17 CFM @ 10.70dBA. I believe it. I had to put my ear right up to the fans to hear any sound. I think this is going to work very well.
I finally received the mesh Wednesday. I put the mesh to the metal break on Thursday. While I'm no pro at it, it will work for my needs. I painted the mesh and fasteners flat white to better blend w/ the ceiling.

Here's a link to some background on the temps I've been experiencing:

After watching The Fantastic Four yesterday, the temp display on the 905 read T: 51/ 46FAN:-. Before installing the fans, it was common to see T: 66/ 61FAN:-. That's a 30 degree Farenheit drop (150.8 to 123.8)!

While I'm happy with the results and the fact that the PS3 fans no longer sound like they're ready for blast off, I think I might get a couple more of the Scythe fans and place them directly on top of the audio and video processing PCBs to draw heat out directly.

I've also attached a couple pics of this little project.

I have had my eye on a temp controller for a while for my fans. I found some at studiotech.com. they are listed under accesories for their rack cabinets. The unit controlls 4 fans and I belive you can set the temp that the fans start at. Also I think the fan speed is gradually increased as the temp rises. Might do the trick? Little pricey though..:(
