    Similar Products list in reviews.

Yeah looks like they listen to constuctive criticism real well. "If you don't like it go to Consumer Reports!!!"

Just so people can check out similar products from other brands to compare to the product in the review. May be helpful for many people.

    Yamaha MusicCAST MCX-2000 Review

No heat here. Just suggesting something that imo could make the reviews more helpful to the consumer. I mean even if they just list similar products at the end to checkout I think it would help. The olive products do seem to fit the same mold for much less money and a bigger HD to boot.

    Yamaha MusicCAST MCX-2000 Review

What do you see as the purpose of your reviews? Do you want people to use your review as a useful tool in making a A/V purchase? Don't you think a comparison is key to this function?

    Yamaha MusicCAST MCX-2000 Review

Why is this not in the review? I think it is quite relevent. Why no mention of the Olive?

    Yamaha MusicCAST MCX-2000 Review

Don't you think that a quick comparison to the alternatives is a important part of judging/rating value of a componet? That way if a person reads the review they can also look for reviews of similar products.

    Yamaha MusicCAST MCX-2000 Review

I will admit up front that I am a huge Squeezebox fluffer. So I would like to compare this unit vs SB3 or even the Olive Musica. First I think 160g is WAY to small. Compare that to the Musica's 400 and the SB3's(which if you spent the cost of the Yamaha you would have well over a Terabyte)...

    Sony ES line

I think the thread title clearly states that it is not about Sony's whole line but thier higher end ES line

    Sony ES line

Compareing Sony to bose is way off the mark. Bose has no products such as the Sony SCDXA9000ES. High quality quite highend gear. Sony has been making stuff like the es9000 and es999 for a long time now.

How do you listen to music at home?

At home I only listen to music in FLAC form through my Squeezebox3 to my stereo. IMO home theater is lame I much rather read a book and listen to some music. I actually hooked my new tv to my 2ch speakers but now I have diconnected them and just use the built in ones.

Over at audiocircle there has been LOTS of talk regarding this article. This is just one thread. http://www.audiocircle.com/circles/viewtopic.php?t=26197 Some interesting stuff. I guess the head designer(TNT) at Nuforce was posting incognito but was revealed by accident. He was knocking the...

    Olive Musica anyone?

do you want a noisy hd in you listening room?? what happens if the drive crashes? How would you have it backed up? I guess it would not be a big deal with 200 disks. I already have 600 disks going to my Sqeezebox and backed up to an external drive.:D

Enter to Win: 3-Play system from Impact Acoustics

    1) I think quality without crazy prices is important. I want to think I got my money's worth but not cheap. 2) I would like to know what types of cables are used in each one.

The Solution to Our Energy Crisis

yes the energy comes from the organic waste. So yes you need 15gallons plus the waste products which contain energy. So it seems to not be going as well as planned but it is making oil from turkey parts. The technology does work. Nothing is perfect right away. IMO that is a big step...
