Very interesting component. One wonders as to the real utility and effectiveness of 8 or 10 or 14 speakers in most people's homes. Would it not be wiser to do a 5.1 system of very good speakers rather than 14.3 of lesser speakers? Then a zone two of good but lesser speakers in another room.

Again, same comment as the $2,500 system, I will not own Denon after having terrible luck with their equipment over two systems and a decade. Did they adopt you? Terrible equipment and you should have a bit more versatile opinion.
