    Bi-amp ?

Yeah I'm prob just gonna let the inuke do the job. I noticed the frequency response was a lil high but I'm getting them for the loud factor (and wow factor, I have to admit) and my sub's will take care of the rest. My subwoofers are tuned to the low 30s I know is still a lil high for HT use but...

    Bi-amp ?

Producing BASS! Lol two 12" and three 10" subs all facing outward across the TV wall about 3 feet between each one and im not done with subwoofers yet either. Down the road a lil I'm getting a CV powered 21" sub and placing it in the back of the room.

    Bi-amp ?

Yamaha RX-V665 Inuke6000 CV-XLS-215 I read that you need to remove the speakers crossover to get full advantage of bi-amping but I need the crossovers for what I'm trying to do. Which is run the mids and highs off of the main L/R channels and using the main channel pre-outs to a power amp to...

Front presence and rear surround at the same time?

OK I have it setup for presence and like you said have to use DSP modes to get them to play with movies and with music they play set to 7.2 stereo and DSP modes. Im wondering since its a 7.2 receiver and you have to choose between playing FP or RS (can't power both) will it still send a signal...

Front presence and rear surround at the same time?

Yamaha rx-v665 7.2 If I connect 2 speakers to the receivers front presence speaker terminals and go from the rear surround pre out to an external amp then to rear surround speakers (9.2) will it play both presence and rears at the same time in surround or stereo?

    Pre out question.

Not 4sure if I'm going to have 4 L/R its just that I'm getting some power hungry CV xls215s and need to power them with a big amp. My current main L/R are CV E312s and will prob move them to the surrounds but maybe was thinking about putting them on top of the 215s and running them off of the...

    Pre out question.

YAMAHA RX-A720 7.2-Ch x 90 Watts Networking A/V Receiver Will I be able to use the audio out (beside the zone 2 out) as another main L/R channel to run two more L/R speakers off of an external amp? Will it still have the surround capabilities of the main L/R?

All Cerwin Vega 7.1 Surround with 4 subwoofers

Lol yeah its a love 4sure (not sticky stuff on my ports kinda love tho) and she acts like she hates it but she loves it deep down ;) Just added another 12" subwoofer and built some custom triport boxes for them and a crown xls1000 to power em. I have em both now just haven't taken a pic yet.

4 mobile subwoofers in my HT

I'm still smiling from movie night :) The Dark Knight Rises was the movie of choice and I'm very impressed. The subs where picking up Bane's voice when they were in the hole prison and The Bat scenes....WOW! It sounded like the damn thing was flying thru my living room. I think I ducked once and...

4 mobile subwoofers in my HT

Hey rojo I'm trying to find out the best way to wire the two 12s to the crown amp. Pretty much 550w each at 2ohm or 215 each at 8ohm? Or bridged at 4 ohm getting 550w each? They rms at 250 and max at 1200. Is it true a sub in a big box (like the ones I built) need less power?

4 mobile subwoofers in my HT

Rojo if I still lived in North Carolina I would drive to Tennessee and give you a hug. I put the 12 in the new box and WOW! 8db gain is an understatement. Its sounds soooo much better. I played a song that it struggled to pick up the low lows b4 and hit every frequency with athourity and thats...

4 mobile subwoofers in my HT

Those are some pretty good numbers for $100-$125 subwoofers eh? I like the DVC Dayton's with 300w in a not so huge enclosure idea. Budget is negative at the moment but for sure a future project. I read somewhere that when using multiple subs they should be the same wattage, diameter, etc...

4 mobile subwoofers in my HT

So my buddy is golfing today and tomorrow so won't be able to work on them till Wednesday. Hey rojo I know I getting ahead of my self but if these boxes are successful then I'm thinking down the road I would like to build two big down firing boxes (so my kids can't get to them) for two 15" subs...

4 mobile subwoofers in my HT

Got to get a little done today. Cut all the panels to size and fit the ports to the inner brace :) Still a ways to go. My buddy who has all the tools and did most of the work I wonder what one of these monsters would sound like in my SUV ;)

4 mobile subwoofers in my HT

I only have $50 invested (not counting subs)but if I build the boxes as planned and wanted to change the sub to a lower Fs someday then the only changes to the enclosure would be the port length right? That infinity is the same price I paid for my CV too.
