I have herd good things about the nxg, but u can never go wrong with a hsu sub. That being said if it were my money hsu for sure.

The x1100 has the blue tooth you were looking for while the e 400 does not. The x1100 is a newer higher model than the e400.

Once again thanks for the information, as far as the ears go they have taken some abuse over the years. I used to compete in car audio competitions with an all time best of 151 db at an event measured in my car. I don't hear as well as I used to and wonder why lol. :) Look after those tweeters...

+1 the 4520 has been out for a while now and I would imagine if there was a lot of problems people on here or other forms would be all over it? Just saying can't always trust all the amazon reviews :)

500 euros is about 640 us dollars don't know what's avaliable in uk? Check on psa, hsu, svs, and rythmik see what's available in your price range. They are all well liked sub manufacturers here.

Denon x4100, denon and Marana are owned by same company. I was just about to pull the trigger on the x4100 when I got a crazy deal on my denon 4520ci that I couldn't pass up. I previously had an onkyo which served me well but I can't say enough about my denon.

We in the trades we call it "smurf tube" but it's actual name is ent, electrical nonmetallic tubing, I have seen some supply house workers look at u cross eyed when u ask for "smurf tube". :)

Had they already given you a price on this when they told you where they "had to " put the wires? Sounds like they just want to do what is easiest for them, or do what they priced it as.
