I have a question, if the frequency response on the PB1000 is so flat why is it considered to perform best in the 'low' range? It looks flat until about 200hz is this still considered lower bass?

Things are going well with the SVS sub. Was wondering if either of you guys have experience with Ascend CBM 170se speakers? I might replace my BA A40s with them.

Just curious if anyone uses this app for its equalizer? Pretty impressive for a 2$ app I think, also tells you which artists in your library are on tour. Opinions?

Bah alright I may do that but I think I'm going to miss the amazingly deep, clean bass from this thing haha, it really is impressive. I think I'll probably just save up money to upgrade my speakers to something that fills in the missing mid/upper range bass. Thanks for the help again

Hm well I still have time to return it lol. I'm thinking maybe its worth the extra dough to get the VTF2 instead. Since its made such a big difference already to my system, having that VTF Q control might allow me to get the punch I want for music. The dayton package has free shipping though...

So since SVS has the one year trade up policy its possible I may do that at some point. Any thoughts on the PB and SB12NSD's. ShadyJ do you think either of these would give me more mid/upper level punch for electronic music? Or would I need to go to an even higher model? Just a thought

Realizing my music sounds so much better as a whole that I don't even crave the loud bass haha. I played with my speaker positioning more and the balance on my amp and the atmosphere is amazing.

Alright so this is a less technical question haha but how loud do you think I can turn this thing? Anyone have one of these personally? As I said I can only get it to around 1/3 volume before I think I might damage it. Any warning signs that a sub is being pushed too hard?

I actually really like to be able to adjust them independently but yea I might look into that. Huge Huge difference though from that change, all my music sounds like music again. lol Thanks for all the help

Ok yea so i set the low pass on the sub to around 80 Hz and so far I definitely like the way its blending better. Improvement for sure.. gunna keep listening

OK so connected it up like you said. I can only turn the sub to about 1/3 volume now or I'm afraid to damage it lol. So if i get this right its only sending frequencies higher than 80Hz to the amp now? And I can still adjust the low pass on the sub to blend better with my speakers i guess. Not...

Again I have little experience with this but, my Rotel is rated at only 60 watts per channel (2) (this is pretty conservative since I usually only turn the volume to 1/3 before it gets very loud) vs the PB at 300watts, what does this do to the sound if anything? Would wiring the source through...

The Rotel ra 1062 has a 'Contour' control which has 5 settings and I frequently keep it on the LH setting (thats the sound I like) which is 2x boosted bass and 1x boosted treble. I might get some fuss for this but I think the Klipsch S4's are some of the best earbuds for the price. I've tried a few other brands around that price and they didn't compare. Only complaint about these is they are not very durable (wires are thin and sort of delicate) so they are not the best...
