As a former Polk PSW-125 owner and now owning the Bic F12 for a week, the Bic is a better sub both in performance and value. The Polk was okay but spilled it's guts on anything demanding. So far my F12 appears to go lower and louder for a lot less money, at least to my ears.

Good point, thanks. I will be crossing my Def Tech SM-350's at 80hz as usually recommended. The SM-350's have been troopers through my "sub-less" period, the bass radiator sure helps a bit.

Thanks for the reply. I am concerned about throwing money at a sub-par box and driver, hoping it would sound passable with the new Bash amp. Not that the F12 is a world beater but for that little money I can at least get some 'oomph' back in my system.
