    Rear Surround Recomendations

I will post a review when i get it all set up today. Only down side is they are coming from the evil Best Buy :(. Thanks for all the recommendations. Now I will have to sell the old JBL/Yamaha System to make the wife happy. It is better to ask for forgiveness than permission right?

    Rear Surround Recomendations

I am kinda of in that "want to get it done today" mode. I don't know of any place locally that sells the JBL line so I will prbly go with the energys, they do match my center which sounds great to me.

    Rear Surround Recomendations

I was at best buy today and listened to a set of Energy CB-5's 4.5 two way book shelves. $199 for the pair. They sounded ok to me but i am just not familiar with the brand

    Rear Surround Recomendations

I have the opportunity to grab a set of JBL E20's and E30's. Would any of these be a good set? The E20's are rear fire ports so I am worried about port noise on the wall. The E30's are a little large. As far as mounting i can mount any thing with the correct rigging hardware.

    Rear Surround Recomendations

I am trying to complete this go around of my Theater system. I am looking for a nice but not to overly pricey set of rears. Budget is $299-400 for the set. My fronts are JM Lab Cobalt 815's, Center is a energy CC5 (holding me over till I can find a Cobalt Center) Sub is a custom Elemental...

What is this Sub? Elemental designs maybe?

That makes sense. It is one hell of a beast. Played down to 18hz and from the listening position measured it at 125db. Its pretty clean sounding. Now i just need to keep things from falling off the walls. I know Ed is long gone now so keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't go belly up any...

What is this Sub? Elemental designs maybe?

My journey started out two weeks ago with a complete cover haul of my HTS. I started looking for a new sub last week. I posted a thread asking what subs people recommended. Well in a weird twist I was at my mother in laws house setting up her new Sony Theater in a box and while I was removing...

Looking for New Subwoofer at a budget Price HSU STF-1 or BIC F12

Thanks for the recommendations guys. I spent the night watching some of the bible on history and after doing the pioneer auto tune crap it got close. I had to go in manually and adjust the sub and rear levels to get it to sound right. Even tho the jbl is audible it just has that feeling that its...

Looking for New Subwoofer at a budget Price HSU STF-1 or BIC F12

And as far as a budget the wife said $300 but I can spring for $600. I'm wanting a real nice set if rears. I didn't want to get into that bc this is the sub section but I was thinking $250$350 for a set of rears. The energy center I got for $ 100 demo from a closing best buy

Looking for New Subwoofer at a budget Price HSU STF-1 or BIC F12

A large space to me is 20,000 + seating! Never thought of my room as large I will re measure when I get home those were just guesses. The other issue with the jbl is the plate amp is going out. Would two stf-2s work? I could always grab a jbl vtek 18 from the back up rig, I would just have to...

Looking for New Subwoofer at a budget Price HSU STF-1 or BIC F12

So this is my first post on this forum but I am no newbie to the Audio world. I Have spent years in recording studios and on tour with large scale speaker systems and distributed installed systems. However with all my experience I have always been the "BIG BOX" Home theater purchaser. That was...
