Listening to these right now. Like the presentation better than my late HTD Level Three Towers. Maybe I just miss the dispersion of a good dome tweeter. Also, I think the perceived strange x-over choice works for this down-firing design. Creates a nice wall of sound.

Listening to these right now and surprisingly loving them. Actually had the nerve to sell my HTD Level Three Towers for these. To my ears I like the presentation more than the Level Three Towers. Maybe I just miss the sound of a good dome tweeter.

Based on my recent experience I'm going with my Fluance XL7F towers. Amazing how much satisfying music is produced by these to my ears of course.

On second thought, I can definitely hear the difference in dynamic range. I think the high setting is the way to go. Guess my almost 50 year old ears are not as acute as they used to be.
