Do i just do something you mentioned early on? Hybrid 2 3.1. Then add some small/ cheap satellites for the rear? I believe I am left with $200 for the rears. Again I know it's not perfect, and maybe this isn't the right compromise setup, but what about something like this? Or something like it?

My Call to Ascend Thanks for the additional options. I called into Ascend and they are telling me that if I can't afford the 340's, I should get the 170's over the 200's for my fronts. She was pretty adamant that this was the way to go. What do you make of this?

One other item. I have an old Cambridge soundworks bass cube 10. Is this something I can use in this room? My preference was to buy a new sub but can use this and spend more on the other speakers if it's a better bet. My gut tells me that that sub isn't high quality.
